Since the tragedy of Woolwich, Anti-Muslim Attacks Up 10 Times

The anti-Muslim attacks increased rapidly in the UK. The increase was triggered by the events of the massacre soldiers at Woolwich, Wednesday, May 22 last. 


British human rights group said, was going 150 anti-Muslim attacks post-tragedy Woolwich. The number rose to 10 times higher than the previous period.

But still there are some radical cleric in Britain who supports the killing of Woolwich . The cleric did not reflect the considered opinion of the majority of British Muslims and only disturb the atmosphere.

British Muslim politician Baroness Sayeeda Warsi called on television that does not provide a long enough airtime to radical cleric Anjem Choudary. Warsi Choudary also called dumb because hateful comments.

Right after the bloody events that occurred, the BBC broadcast a special interview program with Choudary, as a man who knew the murder, Michael Adebolajo. Also broadcast footage Adebolajo attended demonstrations and Choudary in 2007. But the decision was opposed by Warsi.

Warsi was argued, support British Muslims showed that there is maturity among citizens in addressing the incident. However, Warsi remained furious with the media because they give more airtime to radical cleric Al Muhajiroun organization's leaders.
