Police Smash Bomb Libya

A bomb exploded at a police station in Benghazi, Libya. Bomb caused the police station was destroyed but did not cause casualties. 

"An explosive thrown into the police station Al-Baraka in
Benghazi. Bomb destroyed the building, having previously also had become the target of attacks last week," said Libyan police, told AFP on Thursday (05/02/2013).

"The blast caused no casualties," said the police.

Wave of bomb attacks and killings coloring Benghazi in recent months. The attack occurred a day after peace came in town. Security forces, has been working hard to take control of security in the region.

The attack on Benghazi generally carried out by radical groups that still thrives in the region, after the fall of former Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi, 2011. Worst violent incident occurred on September 11 last year, when the Ambassador of the United States (U.S.) Chris Steven along with three other diplomats were killed in an attack on the U.S. Consulate office.

While in Tripoli, an armed group surrounded the Libyan Foreign Office since last Sunday, April 28. Brand siege in order demands that Libya's new government officials cleared of Gaddafi era.
