He said he accuses Israel Attacked Syria

An Israeli military officials claim their territory in the Golan Heights mortar attack from Syria. Mortars fell amid tension in which Israeli attack on Syria last weekend. 


According to the Israeli military, the mortar fell in an empty area and did not cause casualties or damage. But the Jewish state has disturbed the mortar attack. So reported Al Arrabiya, Tuesday (07/05/2013).

This is the third time the shot came from Syria on Israel. Most of the shots were falling into Israeli territory by mistake, because the condition of the civil war that was raging for the past two years.

Golan Heights has been tense since the conflict in Syria two years ago. But there is only a small intersection between Israel and Syria in the border region.

Israel is still technically at war with Syria konfisi, annexed the plateau region of 1,200 square kilometers. The fall happened on the Golan Heights in the Six-Day War in 1967 between Israel and Syria.

The United Nations also put the supervisor in the Golan since 1974 ago. Placement of the monitoring team was to oversee the ongoing ceasefire between Israel and Syria.

Over the weekend, Israel to attack Syria. Israel claimed the attack was aimed at the delivery of weapons from Iran, addressed to a group Hezbollah in Lebanon. During his visit to China, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisted Israel had a right of a country to defend itself.

While Secretary of State United States (U.S.) John Kerry visited Russia for a meeting with President Vladimir Putin. The meeting was intended to discuss the condition of Syria, especially after Israel launched an attack.

Kerry hopes to change the attitude of Russians who had had a different view with Syria. The U.S. is now trying to approach with Russia through two opinions namely, the threat of the United States to arm Syrian opposition and evidence of chemical weapons, the Government forces of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
