Indian Missile Launch Successful Exploration of the Ship Combat


India successfully tested a supersonic cruise missile BrahMos from the ship combat. The missile sped up to a distance of 290 kilometers from its launch point. 


BrahMos missiles launched from Russian-made ship at 11.00 local time. The missile was successfully hit the target attacks.

"The launch was conducted by the Navy, as part of the Shooting Trial battleships," said the head of BrahMos Aerospace A Sivathanu Pillai, told PTI on Wednesday (05/22/2013).

Indian ship used to launch BrahMos is INS Teg, INS and INS Tarkash Trikand. Third battleships had been armed with BrahMos missiles as its main weapon. The missiles it claimed could destroy large warships and submarines.

Party BrahMos Aerospace said the missile has stealth technology. So that when the ships would not be able to detect enemy missile, if launched from the sea floor.

In March, Bollywood State also advanced missile was successfully launched by a submarine. Launch site in the Bay of Bengal. With that success, India officially became the first country to have a pretty great defense capability.

BrahMos missile development program run by the Indian defense companies and Russian companies. The two countries formed BrahMos Aerospace Company.

BrahMos name itself is a combination of the names of two rivers in India and Russia. The river is the Brahmaputra and Moskva River.

In October, Indian Defense Minister AK Antony said that the supersonic missile power will never threaten neighboring countries like China and Pakistan. Missile defense is purely used to India.
