Former Thai PM Back Faced Murder Charges

Former Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva again faced charges of murder. Abhisit's alleged guilt in the alleviation of demonstrations in the streets of Bangkok in 2010. 



Dissolution of demonstrations that led to the deaths of more than 90 residents who oppose the government. Demonstrators calling themselves "Red Shirts", against the powers Abhisit and demanded him to resign from office.

Besides Abhisit, the former Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaungsuban also summoned to the Department of Special Investigation (DSI). Besides faced with the alleged murder of civilians, Thaungsuban and Abhisit also blamed for teen's death 14 years when the demonstration took place.

The charges faced by Abhisit continues to grow. Together with Thaungsuban, both are also faced with the attempted murder of a taxi driver who was injured by the brunt of a soldier's bullet Thailand when the protest took place. So reported Reuters on Tuesday (05/14/2013).

Earlier in December last year, both Democrats was charged with the murder of a taxi driver. But the court rejected Thailand's accusation directed at both men in power in Thailand in 2010 was.

According to the court, the death of a taxi driver has nothing to do with the orders issued by Abhisit. Court judge that the taxi driver was killed by a stray bullet, when riots broke out between Thai soldiers with the protesters.

The "Red Shirt" supporters of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra who oppose the Government of Thailand in 2010, when controlled by Abhisit. They protest that paralyzed the city of Bangkok and the government was forced to forcibly disperse the action that led to the clash.
