China Denies Steal Australian Intelligence Documents

China's Foreign Ministry denied media allegations of Australia's involvement in the hacking of Panda's intelligence office documents in Australia. China confirms, they have always opposed the practice of hacking against other state government offices. 


"China has always considered critical cyber security issues, we also oppose all forms of hacking attacks. Allegations that are not accompanied by proof will not solve the problem," said a spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry Hong Lei, as quoted by the Guardian, Tuesday (05/28/2013).

Until recently, Australian Foreign Minister Bob Carr still reluctant to confirm that the perpetrators of hacking. However, Carr reiterated that if China is really the perpetrators of that event, Australia and China relations will not deteriorate. Both countries are still widely partnership.

"I do not want to comment on, is it true that China is behind this incident. I also would not comment further on the intelligence and security services for a number of reasons," said Carr.

Some documents were successfully broken include details of the office building security and communications cable arrangement. They also managed to track down the server from the building.

Prime Minister Julia Gillard speaks in front of the parliament, calling the hacking report as "inaccurate reports." But Gillard did not explain about the elements of the report.
