The U.S. Received an Invitation Met North Korea

United States (U.S.) welcomed the meeting invitation from North Korea. The meeting was scheduled to discuss the security situation on the Korean Peninsula and the region. 

The U.S. hopes that invitation is earnest intentions of North Korea . Uncle Sam's worried invitation turned out to mere lip service.

As is know, the government of North Korea proposes nuclear talks with high-level security and the United States (U.S.) after a planned meeting with rival South Korea, collapsed.

North Korea had previously also invited South Korea met. However, North Korea abruptly canceled the meeting unilaterally.

"We will judge the North of their actions, instead of sweet words they spend," said White House chief of staff Denis McDonough, told AFP on Monday (06/17/2013).

North Korea has issued a series of statements were angry because of UN sanctions imposed after the rocket launch in December and a nuclear test in February.
