Palestinians Want to Build Base in the village of Israeli Intelligence

The Palestinian Authority reportedly wanted to build a base of Israeli intelligence, Shin Bet, in the village of Beit Ur al-Foka, Beit Ur al-Throne, and Bitunia. But the plan was opposed by a number of parties.

As reported by Arutz Sheva on Wednesday (06/12/2013), the existence of the base will help the team's Shin Bet security services. Base was also assessed to monitor the security situation of Israelis who live adjacent to the Palestinian territories.

The plan was actually opposed by Regavim NGO that acts as an advocate of property rights of the Jews. They urged the government in Judea and Samaria to oppose the plan to build a base Shin Bet.

In his Facebook account, Regavim also announced winning on this feud. They claimed to have received a letter from the local authorities in Judea and Samaria who oppose the construction of the intelligence base.

As is known, Judea and Samaria is a region that is often referred to as Area C. The region is clearly the Palestinian territories, but still under Israeli occupation and control.

The location is very handy for the Jewish State. The reason, they can monitor the situation in Modiin. Israel is very concerned with the demonstration or the resistance of the Palestinian citizens.
