Palestinian Boy Tortured

Report of the United Nations (UN) reveals the fact that the Israeli soldiers torturing Palestinian children. Not only tortured, children are used as human shields even with forced so minesweepers.

"Palestinian children are often arrested by Israeli soldiers who often tie their hands and close their eyes. Boys are then sent to a central storage without informed to their parents," the UN report, told New Europe on Friday (06/21/2013 ).

"These children continue to experience physical violence and verbal and humiliated. They even threatened to be killed and sometimes sexually abused between the members or by members of his own family," the report continued.

The report describes the 14 cases which show that Palestinian children are used as human shields. The cases that occurred between January 2010 and March 2013.

"Israeli soldiers using Palestinian children into dangerous territory. They were ordered to stand in front of Israeli military vehicles, to stop throwing stones at vehicles that even some of them are forced to deal with mines," the UN report said.

Until now estimated there are approximately 7,000 Palestinian children between the ages of 12 to 17 years languishing in Israeli jails. Some cases showed no children detained nine-year-old. Most of them were accused of throwing stones at Israeli soldiers.

Furthermore, based on the findings of the United Nations, Palestinian children are imprisoned not voting for health care access. They also do not get the opportunity to learn and enjoy the great water. Many of them also refused to get a birth certificate. (sbmptn)
