Historic meeting of North and South Clear

"North Korea's chief delegate questioned us. They unilaterally canceled the meeting, "said a spokesman for South Korea's Unification Ministry, Kim Hyung-Seok, as quoted by AFP on Wednesday (06/12/2013).

North Korea conducted a day before the cancellation. It is not known whether the cancellations were temporary or fixed.

North unfortunate cancellations made by the South. In fact, North Korea was the one who took a meeting.

South Korea invited North Korea to restore economic ties between the two countries. One of the agenda being discussed is the re-opening Kaesong industrial park.

Kaesong industrial park is a cooperation project between the two Koreas. South Korean government pull its workers from the Kaesong as conflicts heat up a few months ago.

"The actions of (North Korea) is in accordance with the pattern of their diplomacy. North Korea has always sought to ease tensions they present themselves, "said Korean observers from the United States (U.S.), Stephen Haggard, as quoted by AFP on Sunday (06/09/2013).

If successful runs, the meeting will be a historic event. Both Koreas have never done a high-level meeting since six years ago.

"This incident shows the two countries still do not trust each other," said the observer Korea, Yang Moo-Jin.

The phone is also not in lift

North Korea immediately after their tough cancel dialogue with South Korea (ROK). The communist country reportedly reluctant picked up from the South. 

"We called them at 9:00, but North Korea does not want to answer it," South Korea's unification ministry said, as quoted by AFP on Wednesday (06/12/2013). 

As is known, the two Korean dialogue it will be a historic dialogue as well as dialogue first thing they did after six years ago. But the debate was canceled because of the feud in the field of protocol. 

According to the South, the North against the appointment of South Korean Vice Unification Minister Kim Nam-Shik, as head of the delegation. At first, South Korea sent ministers unifikasinya intend to lead the delegation, while the North sends the Peaceful Reunification of North Korea's Committee Director Kang Ji-Young. But the plan was changed.

Although the dialogue was deemed not going to produce anything, the dialogue between the two countries could help clear deeskalasi tensions on the Korean Peninsula. South Korea still did not know, whether the cancellation of the dialogue will be temporary or permanent. 

But South Korea recalls, they remain open to dialogue with its neighbors. South Korea also urged North Korea to be sincere in responding to these bilateral issues.
