Talk Missiles, Threatened Syrian Ambassador Expelled

Jordan threatened to repatriate Syrian Ambassador Bahjat Suleiman Suleiman said that right after the Syrian missiles could be stationed on the borders of his country. Syrian missiles also believed to be used to fend off Patriot missiles possessed enemies of the state. 


"Ambassador of Syria had violated all the norms and practices of the diplomatic code of conduct for his actions. We give final warning to him to obey the rules of diplomatic, and stop making comments about things that threaten the sovereignty of Jordan," said Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Joudeh, as quoted by Reuters on Friday (07/06/2013).

Besides Joudeh, Jordanian officials also looked at Suleiman's comments as a threat. The official reiterated, Suleiman's comments completely unacceptable.

So far, Jordan still maintains the Syrian Embassy although they actively criticize its neighbor. They also never voiced his support for the Syrian opposition factions openly. State-led King Abdullah II was also home to the Syrian refugees.

Some parties in Jordan is quite worrying, anger Syrian President Bashar al-Assad could be bad for Jordan. Jordan has also been criticized Assad and accused the country to support the Syrian opposition. Ambassador Suleiman also claims, protecting thousands of Jordanian militant groups deployed to fight Assad, but Jordan denied the allegations.

As one of the Middle East, the kingdom of Jordan is a partner of the United States (U.S.). Jordan also has offices Israeli Embassy.

In April, Uncle Sam announced the shipment of 200 military officers to Jordan, they all are experts in planning military operations. The U.S. also intends to install Patriot missiles and F-16 jets sent to Jordan for training war.
