Israel Really Selling Military Technology to Pakistan?

British military document mentions the sale of Israeli military technology to Pakistan. The case was judged to threaten the Jewish State's strategic alliance with India.

Some of the equipment sold to Pakistan Israel are electronic components for F-16 parts and aircraft cockpit design. The sale was done in 2010, and investigated by the British.

Israel flatly denied reports of selling weapons technology to Pakistan, which is an old enemy of India. According to sources from the UK, when the sale was actually made, it obviously could damage bilateral relations of Israel and India. This is a pity.

"We were shocked. Agreement is not only happening, we've asked the British for this information and we are very interested to see, who to sell it to Pakistan by pretending to be an authority in Israel," said one Israeli official, as quoted by the Daily Telegraph , Friday (06/14/2013).

"Arms sales are a grim business. Allows for a non-Israeli citizens to cover up this issue," he added.

Israeli Defense Ministry reiterated its bilateral relationship with India, as the largest democracy in the world. Israel also praised India as a partner in fighting terror.

Meanwhile, the Pakistani military also denied that the sale of military technology. Pakistan said the report was not based on facts.

However, sources in the UK concluded that Israel has at its core technology into the hands of Pakistan without the knowledge of his government. Britain will work more closely with India and Israel to investigate the events. (sbmptn)
