North Korea Proposes Talk to U.S.

The government of North Korea proposes nuclear talks with high-level security and the United States (U.S.) after a planned meeting with rival South Korea, failed. 


The National Defense Commission said that the negotiations must be done to ease tensions and to achieve peace and security in the Korean Peninsula. Associated Press reported on Sunday (16/06/2013).

North Korea has issued a series of statements were angry because of UN sanctions imposed after the rocket launch in December and a nuclear test in February.
