Singapore Threatened Bomb, After Attack in Boston


A 34-year-old man was arrested by Singapore authorities have issued a bomb threat at several locations. The threat was issued by him through the internet, right after the bomb attack in the Boston marathon.

Thursday after posting a threat to the bombing. Threat was thrown after writing a commentary on the latest news about the bombing in Boston.

"Initial investigations indicate the suspect is there is no intention to attack," said the Singaporean authorities, as quoted by The Straits Times, Sunday (21/04/2013).

Perform a bomb threat in Singapore could face a maximum of five years imprisonment or a fine of 100 thousand Singapore dollars. Or even two sentences that can be imposed on him.

While on another occasion, Singapore police are investigating alleged bomb threat aimed at the marathon in Singapore in December. But until now there has been no arrests were made.

On Saturday, April 20, a Singapore aircraft Airlina (SIA) carrying 280 passengers from Manila, investigated by the police following reports of potential safety. The passengers were only allowed to go out after three hours the plane landed at Changi Airport.

Police did not say what the security threat. But there is a suspicion that the plane received a bomb threat.
