South Korea is Getting Annoyed With Japan

South Korea strongly protested the statement of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on his officials to the Yasukuni Shrine visits. Now the Japanese Ambassador to South Korea summoned to the South Korean government. 

"We do not understand why Japanese people close their 

eyes and ears on the wounds caused by the invasion of his country," said South Korean Deputy Foreign Minister Kim Kyou-hyun, in depat Ambassador to Japan, as quoted by Reuters on Thursday (04/25)

South Korea and China is quite upset with Japan regarding this event, especially when hundreds of members of the Japanese Parliament from the Conservative Party visited the shrine symbol of Japanese aggression. Abe speech justifying the harsh attitude of its officials directly addressed by South Korean President Park Geun-Hye.

Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga "Japan should be harmonized at the international community. When they move to the right, their relations with Asian countries and other Asian north will cause problems," said Park. 

"If the Japanese have a different perception of history, and reopening old wounds, it will be difficult (for Asian countries) to build a relationship with the Japanese," he said. 


Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said, the Japanese did not want to ruin the Yasukuni Shrine issue when Japan's relations with its neighbors. Suga explained again, Japan is also suffering other Asian countries in the war. 


"The Japanese government accept this historical fact and expressed remorse for this tragedy, we convey his condolences to the victims, saying it remains true for the Abe administration," Suga said.
