Syrian army sweeps Militant Opposition in Qusair

Syrian forces continued to strengthen its position in the city of Qusair. They swept defense bases still dominated militant opposition. 

They managed to snatch from the hands of the opposition Buwayda Village on Saturday, June 8. Buwayda base defense is the latter belongs to the opposition in Qusair.

"Qusair we have fully mastered. We continue to pursue opposition militants remaining in Qusair, "said the commander of the Syrian army, as quoted by Reuters on Sunday (06/09/2013).

Qusair city has a strategic role in the Syrian conflict. The city has been a center of militant opposition logistics.

Most observers had expected the opposition is not going to be able to maintain Qusair. Militant opposition will lose the number of soldiers and weaponry.
